Mini Basketball Hoops – A Shape and Size for Every Game
Mini basketball hoops come in all shapes and styles. Most of us have started with a small mini basketball hoop as kids that used until it broke in our family rooms. We then graduated to having a full-size basketball hoop outside in the driveway but we never gave up having a mini basketball hoop in the bedroom so that we could shoot sockballs into the hoop as we went to bed at night. If you are like the rest of the true basketball nuts, you then went to school or right into your first job and the mini basketball hoop went right along with you. Mine is eleven feet from me as I sit right now and yes, I can still hit nine out of ten anytime of the day or night.

That way your kids can use it from the time they can walk until the time that they are through the second grade or so, and they will still love it. They are easy to adjust and are great when you play with a mini ball. These mini basketball hoops are among my personal favorites.

These units are usually made of metal, are also adjustable and are usually made of more durable lightweight metal or heavy duty plastic. You’ll know the time is right to move to this type of mini basketball hoop when the shooting range of the kids gets farther out than your farthest wall of the family room. When the kids get a little older they will still want to hoop it up all the time and the best way to allow them to safely do it while in your home is to put a mini basketball hoop up in their bedroom and let them fire away with balls and socks until they have their fill of hoop dreams. Some of my best memories of my childhood involve games of H-O-R-S-E in my bedroom with my brothers with each of us shooting at a rigged mini basketball hoop hung on the back of the closet door.
